Mandy & Evan’s Winter Wedding – Fort Wayne, Indiana – Indiana Wedding Photographer

January 23, 2019

We wanted snow and boy did we get it! Mandy’s dream was to have this beautiful white winter wedding and thankfully winter finally showed up in time for the big day!

The ceremony took place at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church but our day actually started at the hotel, Don Hall Guesthouse. Details came first then getting ready. Both Mandy & Evan had 9 friends standing beside them so it was quite the party when it came to getting ready.

The church was absolutely gorgeous with all the stain glass windows and original wood. Mandy put her dress on in the balcony and everyone got chocked up when Bobbie (Mandy’s dad) walked in to see his little girl all dressed up!

The ceremony was just beautiful and flowed so smoothly. I have to give props to this bridal party… they were pros! I’ve never had such a large bridal party behave so well. I know that sounds funny but these guys were on point all day. Thanks for rockn’ it bridal party! 😀

The snow started to come down harder as we went outside for portraits. The rose garden was my favorite location of the day! The white pergola, which I thought would blend into the background, actually popped off the page and gave a gorgeous frame to the photos. We did individuals with Mandy and Evan and single individuals.

The reception was beautiful with the gold and hunter green colors, along with lots of bling! Mandy & Evan cut the cake and went right into their first dance. Mandy’s dad gave a beautiful speech about Mandy and also welcomed Evan into their family… not a dry eye, even I cried. Next came dinner and then some heart warming speeches from the best man, and Mandy’s 2 sisters. Then Mandy danced with her dad and Evan with his mom and then the bridal party welcomed everyone onto the floor for party time!

The night ended with a beautiful night shot outside the hotel and a fun selfie with the couple! Mandy & Evan – thank you for bringing me along on this journey with you and I wish you all the love in the world as you move into the next chapter of your lives together! All my love – S

It may not have been the weather we were hoping for but that didn’t stop Christine and Robby from having the most perfect wedding day. So perfect in fact that their adorable puppy Arnold joined the celebration.
