I can’t believe we’ve made it the BIG DAY! There has been so much excitement leading up to Laura & Martinas’ wedding day! I couldn’t sleep the night before due to all the unique photo ideas I wanted to try! We had special permission to go inside the practice facility so my mind was raising with excitement!

 

Laura’s shoes were 5 inches tall… I don’t know she managed to stand and dance all day. I loved the shade of burgundy so much, I decided to use them in the ring shot!

 

 

Martinas’ awesome portraits inside the Joyce Center Men’s Basketball locker room. I decided to turn all the lights out and focus solely on him. The locker room was filled with the current players’ stuff so shooting his portraits this way, cut out all the distractions from the background but highlighted the Notre Dame!

 

Returning back to the Century Center, I wanted the same look for Laura’s portraits. When window light isn’t available or isn’t pretty, that’s when you get creative and give the images something extra!

 

Isn’t she gorgeous… like a movie star!!!
