It’s officially summer which means we’re headed to the beach! 🏖

Emily and Justin’s summer lovn’ engagement session was any beach lovers dream! We started our session at the studio where Nidia of Blushing Beauty Hair styled Emily’s hair. Emily is a makeup master and is even doing her own makeup for her wedding! That’s mind blowing to me; I could never do that.

Our original plan was to go to a garden in Michigan for the first part of the session. However, the park changed their hours for summer and was already closed. Not worry though because we decided to explore the downtown area of St. Joesph, Michigan for their first location. Best decision! ☺️

I LOVE Emily’s blush dress! It matches their wedding colors and looks gorgeous on her! These two had no problem showing off their love for one another!

The smiles were non-stop! 😁

Just across the street was this beautiful brick alley. We photographers love a good alley! lol

The next block over was a chocolate shop with a small outside eating area. These are my favorite photos from the day! 😍

We walked one more block down and found this beautiful building that matched the color tones of Emily and Justin’s outfits. You know me… I love to coordinate!

Off to the beach! Kneeling elbow deep in sand equals bringing the beach home with you in your shoes. 🤣

Since Silver Beach is always so crowded, we actually went next door to Tiscornia Park. I love the tall grass!

So perfect… love this so much! 😍

Our night shot actually got to be at sunset. It normally doesn’t happen this way because my sessions are in cities where the sun is blocked by buildings and you can’t see the horizon. However, we were literally right on the water so we took full advantage of this gorgeous sunset! ☀️
