These two Boilermakers met back in 2017 when they were both computer science majors at Purdue University. A friend set them up at a party and a few weeks later, they were inseparable. So when it came time to pick their engagement session location, there seemed like no better place than their (and mine) alma mater. Boiler Up!
We met outside of Armstrong Hall and walked over to Cary Quad where Thomas lived all 4 years. The light and the colors were perfect! 😊
Love!
These two were all about the giggles! 😀
Great burrito spin! 🤣
The arches provided the perfect intimate spot for some snuggles.
On our way out of Cary Quad, we stopped just across the street at the entrance to the University (from the west side), the Purdue University Arch.
Down the Stadium Mall we went to the Civil Engineering building. Neither one of them studied civil engineering but the steps make for the best seated photos! 😍
We walked to the Engineering Fountain but it was a little too early to be lite up yet so we relaxed on the grass.
So cute! 😍
We walked to Elliot Hall of Music which holds a special place for Hannah since she was in the Purdue Jazz Band (super jealous). 🎼
The Bell Tower! A Purdue tradition is that you can’t walk under it until you’ve graduated. I honestly don’t remember if I obeyed that rule when I was there but Micky and I did take our own wedding photos under it years later. ❤️
Back we went to the Engineering Fountain where I found these cool designs on top of the lighted pillars. With a little patience and a whole lot of balance, these ‘pineapples’ made for a pretty cool suspended ring shot. 💍
It was too early in the year for the fountain to be on but they did have some of the lights going. We stayed there until sunset. 😊
Sunset shot at the fountain… Yes, please! 😊😱
To Hannah and Thomas – Thank you for such a fun-filled trip down memory lane! It’s not too often that I run into alumni up here, let alone get to work with them. I had a blast; you two are the cutest! I’m very much looking forward to your incredible day this November! All my love – S
