Holy cow people… WOW! Talk about an epic session! I had butterflies in my stomach the whole time. I was in shock that not only did these two awesome people grant me the honor of photographing their wedding next June but now I get to travel to a pretty epic location for their engagement shoot… someone pinch me! (not really thou, I bruise like a summer fruit) lol.

Laura is currently at Vanderbilt getting her PhD in medical research while Martin just graduated from Notre Dame where he played for their basketball team. He has now gone pro and recently left for Europe to be on Lithuania’s national basketball team. Super exciting!!!

The 3 of us discussed the shoot at length long before we arrived. Since they don’t share any milestone memories with Nashville, we chose backgrounds that weren’t necessarily staples of the city, (except for the last few night shots). Martin was very specific that he wanted pristine foliage where not a single leaf or branch was out of place. hehe

We started at Centennial Park and then the Golch (my favorite part of Nashville) and ended on Broadway. Laura and Martin were a blast to photograph and the 4 of us (Micky went too) couldn’t stop laughing the entire time.

I literally can not wait until June!
