Before going full time, I worked at Prairie Vista Elementary school in Granger, Indiana. I worked mainly with 1st graders, along with office type duties. One particular 1st grader I got to know really well was Sarah. She always had a big smile on her face whenever I’d come to her classroom. She loved that we both shared the same name and that hugs were always a must! How great was it that after all this time her mother contacted me for family photos. Laura’s brother and parents would be in town for the holiday so it was the perfect time for a big family portrait.
