Liz & Dylan
How they met: Liz and Dylan met at Enterprise Rent-A-Car about 4 years ago. Liz was taking a truck rental course for a promotion and Dylan was the instructor. After attending an Enterprise Happy Hour together, they immediately hit it off and have been together ever since.
How he proposed: Dylan woke Liz up to tell her that their puppy (London) had ripped up the flowers she had just planted. When Liz walked outside to see the damage, Dylan was down on one knee. Liz said, “It was a surprise and simple, just the way our relationship has been. I do regret not brushing my teeth first, ewww… morning breath.”
Dylan loves: Liz’s kindness
Liz loves: Dylan’s patience
The Wedding Day: I arrived at Tippecanoe Place to find Liz all smiles as she shared some mimosas with her bridesmaids. They were in matching button-down shirts that were monogramed. I started with her details first before leaving to meet the guys. I wanted to pay tribute to Tippecanoe Place in photographing the details. They have these antique chairs and couches and I want to steal for my studio (but I won’t) so I decided to use one of the chairs for Liz’s details. I was delighted to find that the bridal suite was huge with tons of light! I had no problem hanging Liz’s dress from the large mirror because of the extensive amount of space available.
Off to see the guys at Liz & Dylan’s home just 5 minutes away in downtown. In true groomsmen form, I showed up to basketball shorts and Coronas. 🙂 Dylan was so excited and ready to get started, knowing the sooner we get started, the sooner he could see Liz. The guys got dressed in their matching leather belts. I know that sounds like a weird sentence but it’s true. For the groomsmen’s gift, Dylan had a leather belt made with the same leather as the horses’ bridals in the Kentucky Derby. Liz went to U of K and her whole family are huge Kentucky Derby fans.
Dylan nailed his portraits! Guy knows how to put on the charm. 🙂
Back to Tippecanoe to get Liz in her stunning gown! The girls enjoyed a little champagne time before getting in their beautiful Adrianna Papell dresses.
Beautiful moment as mom zipped Liz into her dress. <3
Liz looked breathtaking in her satin gown. A true Juliet, waiting for her Romero.
Now it was finally time for Liz & Dylan to see each other.
Family formals in front of the ceremony location. I know it may sound silly but I was pretty excited to see that I got all 6 children to look at the camera at the same time. If you’ve ever taken a picture of more than 1 child at the same time, you know how impossible this is. Even the baby is looking… #bestfamilyever
