Michelle & Nate – Fairytale outdoor wedding – Izaac Walton – South Bend, Indiana

I have been waiting for this day for what feels like a lifetime. Since meeting Michelle and Nate last November, I’ve been looking forward to their wedding basically every day! We immediately clicked and became good friends… the words ‘client’ and ‘vendor’ never occurred to us.

We started the day at an AirBNB where Michelle and her team bride were getting ready. I LOVE their details! So perfect for the theme and gorgeous light.

Michelle’s mom (Marie) helped her get into the dress while her closest friends watched in excitement!

Michelle is always a pleasure to photograph and today was no exception. Isn’t she stunning?!

Since we had the perfect staircase, we HAD to do the awkward prom photo. haha

Next to meet Nate and his team groom at their AirBNB!

With his best friend (Nigel) helping him put on his coat, Nate was ready to get married!

No one can do the Don Draper face like Nathaniel Blanchard!

Sorry ladies… this one’s taken!

Arriving at the Izaac Walton, we found the ceremony all set up with a beautiful golden mood arch from Floradashery! Leah added a mix of florals and a white satin drapery that pulled in both inside and outside decor.

It’s time!

Guest threw rose pedals as the two walked down the aisle as man and wife. Couldn’t be a more perfect photo!

Family time!

Bridal Party shenanigans!

Creative time!!!

Handsome Nate

Stunning Michelle

The lodge was decorated by both Leah of Floradashery and Michelle herself. A lot of personal touches were brought it which made the space so unique.

As the reception started, Michelle’s dad (Mike) gave the welcome toast and Nate thanked special guests who had worked very hard to give them the perfect day!

Speeches! Man of Honor Micheal and Best Man Nigel.

The cake was made by Nate’s cousin who’s a professional baker. It was out of this world yummy and such an ornate design.

First Dance

Emotional dances with dad and mom.

Party time!

Michelle surprised Nate by singing him a song with her fellow band member.

The perfect way to end a fairytale wedding… a night shot with fairy lights!

To Michelle & Nate – Words can not express how honored I was to be apart of your journey to this day. We’ve become so close and I couldn’t be happier for you both. I’m sad that you’re off to Colorado but thrilled that you’re starting this huge new chapter in your story together! If you ever need anything… I’ll always be there. Love – S
