Katie reached out to me to photograph her family for their Christmas photos this year. I’ve known Katie now for about 2 years and have really come to depend on her sound business advice and friendship. We met at a Michiana Wedding Network event. It was first one as a member and I didn’t know anyone. Katie sat right next to me and even though she wasn’t in the business of wedding anymore, she was happy to share her wisdom with this newcomer.

Katie works part time at The Armory, which is a beautiful event venue in South Bend. It has this cute corner of the bar with an oversized leather couch, mirrors in every shape and gorgeous light! The staff had just decorated for Christmas so it was the perfect spot for her family’s Christmas mini-session!

Her son’s Dylan and Evan are just too cute and were a blast to photographed. Truth me told though, they kept us on our toes. At the end of the session, they hugged me so tight that I fell over. 🙂
