The perfect day… it’s what Chrissy and Rick kept saying on their wedding day at Morris Park Country Club. The weather was perfect, the venue was gorgeous and the day just flowed so smoothly. You would have thought it was a movie. ❤️
Chrissy and Rick met on match.com and shared their first date at Hacienda. Before long, it was clear that these two were meant to be. Chrissy loves to visit the Grotto on Notre Dame’s campus so it was only fitting that Rick ask her to marry him there. They went on Christmas eve and lit a candle. At the perfect moment Rick looked at Chrissy as asked her to spend the rest of their lives together. And that beautiful moment as lead us to today!
Our day began at Morris Park Country Club where Rick and his groomsmen got ready in the locker room. There wasn’t a lot room for the 9 of us so things got a silly. 🙃
We stepped outside briefly to show off all that handsome! 😎
Rick’s portraits… stud alert!🚨
The boys headed down to the pub to eat lunch while I drove to Chrissy’s house. It was only 1.1 miles away so it didn’t take me long, lol. Chrissy was just finishing up her makeup so I started on her details.
The ring shot…. 😱 I used Chrissy’s mom’s purse has the background. The detail is insane!
Time to get our beautiful bride dressed!
Cheers to the future Mrs. Farrell! 💍
Time for Chrissy’s portraits. She was beaming from ear to ear! Plus she looked liked incredible!❤️
Off to St. Monica’s Catholic Church!
What a gorgeous view from the balcony! This is why I always recommend a seconder shooter for Catholic ceremonies.
Vows and exchanging of rings.
You may now kiss your bride!!!
Introducing Mr & Mrs Rick Farrell!!! 🥰
The Govorko’s and the Farrell’s
Ladies and gentleman of the wedding party.
Mrs. Farrell 😍
Mr. Farrell ☺️
Husband and wife!
As we were heading out the door to the party bus, we stopped for a private moment by the gorgeous stain glass doors. So breathtaking. 🥰
Our first stop was at Saint Mary’s College. Both Chrissy and her sister graduated from Saint Mary’s so Chrissy wanted the college to be apart of her special day.
It’s all about the details!
Wedding party fun!
Creatives!
Picture perfect! 📷
We headed back to Morris Park Country Club for the reception. We drove around the grounds on our golf carts and may or may not have run into one another. 🤣
For the last few minutes of photos, we traveled to the gorgeous willow tree on the east side of the course. It was well worth the bumpy ride. 😍
Chrissy and Rick love to show off their goofy side! It’s their favorite type of photos so we made sure to get a little silly! 🙃
WOW!!!
Time to celebrate! Chrissy loves details so we made sure to capture every aspect of their reception!
Party time! 🥳
Their first dance as husband and wife.
Cake time! They really went for it! 🎂
Chrissy’s dad welcomed the guests to this wonderful celebration and then gave a special toast to his daughter.
Speeches by the best man Casey (Rick’s brother) and the matron of honor Julie (Chrissy’s sister). 🥂
Parent dances – Chrissy and her dad and Rick and his mom.
Let’s get all those single gals and guys out on the dance floor for the bouquet and garter toss! 💐
We’ve got that dancing fever! 💃🏻 🕺🏻
To end the perfect night, we needed the perfect night shot. We wanted sunset however the trees on the golf course were too high to see the horizon. But that’s okay because with a little creative thinking and special lighting, I was able to create this show-stopping/award-worthy image… 😱
