Tippecanoe Place Engagement – Amanda & Aaron – South Bend Wedding Photographer

It’s not everyday we get an entire venue to ourselves! But that’s exactly what happened for Amanda and Aaron’s engagement session.

Amanda and Aaron met at Tippecanoe Place Restaurant back in 2016. Though neither one of them still work there today, it’s where their love story began. ❤️

So it seemed only fitting that we have their engagement session there and celebrate where it all started. Bonus… the venue wasn’t open so we literally had the entire estate to ourselves. I was so excited, I didn’t know where to start! 😁

Before our session began, we started at the studio for hair and makeup. Nidia of Blushing Beauty Hair did Amanda’s hair and makeup while the 3 of us chatted about all things wedding. Amanda and Aaron have worked weddings for years and Amanda still works them to this day as the coordinator for Aloft Hotel South Bend. It was so nice to talk to a fellow vendor (and friend) about how things are going.

After hair and makeup, we headed to Tippecanoe Place. We started outside with their casual look!

The light was gorgeous and these two couldn’t stop giggling! 🙃

Amanda and Aaron are walking pros! I think I had them walk in 3 separate locations because they were just so dang good at it. lol

Never a dull moment! 🤣

Second outfit… semi-dressy! Love the jumpsuit Amanda chose!

I told Amanda to hold on to that cute face and boy did she ever! I don’t think Aaron could have moved if he tried, lol! ❤️

Aaron is a pro when it comes to the ‘locker lean’. I think these 2 are ready to go steady. 😍

Laughter makes for the best photos. You can truly capture a person’s personality when they laugh out loud. 😆

What did I tell ya… picture perfect walking photo!

Now Aaron’s ability to spin Amanda though… 🤣

That golden hue mixed with the purple flowers… worth the 10 mosquito bites.

Amanda’s ring was placed on the stone exterior of Tippecanoe Place. I wanted the ring shot to carry the same theme as the rest of the photos. 💍

Amanda and Aaron changed to their formal outfits for our evening photos inside Tippecanoe Place. Love the bar photos! 🍺

The stairs never disappoint! 😍

Night shot time! We had to get a dip in front of Tippecanoe Place… for sure! The wind kept knocking my light over but we got it! ☺️

As we were about to leave, I spotted the Edison light bulbs on the patio and wondered if there was another shot to be had. I was right as we created this image from a very unique perspective. The golden hue of the lights and the soft lighting on their faces gave the image an imitate feel. It was the perfect way to end such an epic session!

To Amanda and Aaron – I hope you had as much fun as I did creating these memories and laughing along the way! December 12th will be here before you know it and I literally can’t wait! Congratulations future Mr & Mrs Smith! All my love – S
