A Golfer’s Paradise Wedding at SB Country Club – Michelle & Scott – South Bend Wedding Photographer

Michelle and Scott fairytale started over 5 years ago when they were introduced by mutual friends in the RV business. They quickly bonded over their love of sports; particularly baseball. Their dream after retirement is to visit every major baseball stadium in the country. Very cool! ⚾️

After Scott proposed, they started planning their dream wedding in Aruba, but sadly 2020 had other plans. In order to celebrate with their closest friends and family, Michelle and Scott chose South Bend Country Club for a beautiful outdoor wedding on the golf course. Scott is a huge golfer so this couldn’t be more perfect!

Michelle and Scott’s day started at Double Tree South Bend where I photographed Michelle’s dreamy details. I mean come on… that ring!!! 😱

Upstairs Michelle was finishing up hair and make up with sweet Josie by her side.

Scott’s stepmom, Bonnie, zipped Michelle into her dress, then all the gals got in on the action.

Michelle literally could not stop smiling. She was so happy to finally be marrying Scott.

As the girls got into the shuttle, we left for the SBCC to capture Scott getting ready. His’ sons and dad helped him with his finishing touches, while Brian (Scott’s brother and the officiant) pinned on his boutonnière.

Ceremony time! Michelle and Scott got married on the 16th green overlooking the beautiful South Chain Lake.

Scott’s sons (Rob and Keiji) walked him down the aisle.

Josie did a fantastic job as flower girl! She shouted “Go Ducks!” at the end of the aisle as a surprise to Scott. He’s a huge Oregon Ducks fan and Michelle knew that would make him smile.

Here comes the bride! All of their guests stood and clapped as Michelle came down the aisle. 🥰

They exchanged vows and rings.

It’s official! Mr & Mrs Parkhurst!!! 🥳

Family formals.

Beautiful portraits in front of the arch. Love the florals by Always N Bloom.

We drove our golf carts down to this beautiful spot by the lake. The sunlight shinning through the willow trees was heavenly.

These two are pros when it comes to walking shots so of course we would do a few more on their wedding day!

Sorry ladies, this one’s taken! 😍

Doesn’t Michelle look incredible! ❤️

Time for the reception! I love all the pink and shimmery details!

It’s my pleasure to introduce Mr and Mrs Parkhurst! 🥰

Brian welcomed all the guests and Bonnie said a prayer over the meal.

After dinner, it was time for cake! 🎂

Their first dance as husband and wife. Song: Change Your Name by Brett Young.

It’s party time!!! 🥳

As our day came to a close, we snuck outside for a few evening portraits. Michelle and Scott were deliriously happy!

The clouds started to roll in which gave us a very picturesque ending to this perfect day!

Michelle & Scott – Congratulations and thank you for taking me along on this amazing journey with you! Your day was so much fun and I couldn’t be happier for the both of you! You were literally giddy, you were just so happy and that’s exactly how it should be. I wish you nothing but love, laughter and GO DUCKS! as you start this next chapter of your lives together! All my love – S
