Grace and Garrett have been crazy for one another since they met back in high school. After Garrett proposed to Grace last year, they decided to get married on their 8 year anniversary next March. As you all know, Grace is my executive assistant and partner in crime here at SSP. I literally couldn’t do my job without her. So needless to say, I was a little nervous for their session because I wanted to do a fantastic job for them since Grace does so much for me. And the result… Even better than I could have imagined. I am obsessed with their session so let’s not waste any more time and get to it! 😊

Their session started at the studio where Grace got her hair and makeup done. Ashley and Nidia knocked it out of the park with Grace’s look! She looked like a super model. 😍

We left the studio and went to our first location, Darden Bridge in South Bend. This bridge is where Grace and Garrett skipped school together and where Grace fell in love with Garrett. It was the perfect spot to start their session.

The three of us climbed down under the bridge to see if there was a cute walkway or something we could use. I saw this little pocket of light in between the trees and popped them both in it. The giggles were non-stop! 🙃

After we climbed out of the rocks and weeds, we headed over to Grace and Garrett’s house to get some adorable moments with their pups, Dexter and Link. 🐶🐶

Link got a little crazy. 🤣

Garrett owns a vintage 74 MG Midget that we HAD to get pictures with! Garrett throw on a leather jacket and we channeled Grease Lightening vibes. 🚗

So pumped about this shot! 🤩

We said goodbye to the puppies and headed off to St. Joe Michigan. Grace and Garrett changed into their second look and we walked around the village shops. I love how intimate these moments are just by standing slightly off to one side. And don’t they look amazing in their dressy outfit! 😍

A few steps down the street to the olive bar with all the twinkle lights. 🤩

Then a quick sit down at the local coffee house. ☕️

Beach time! Grace and Garrett changed into their final outfit and I photographed Grace’s ring. I wanted to bring out the blue hue of the beach, along with it’s textures too. We put her ring on a piece of drift wood and surrounded it with tall grass. I love it!

It was the most perfect sunset! Every moment looked like a movie. ☀️

These two are pro walkers on the beach. So many great moments!

A very steep climb up a sand dune later and we were relaxing among the tall grass.

As I was getting my light out for the final shot, Grace and Garrett sat on some drift wood and it was the cutest thing so of course I had to snap one!
