Get ready for a jaw-dropping engagement session my friends! 🤩 Erin and Jack are getting married next July at Notre Dame but wanted to do their engagement session in the windy city! After two postponements, (one for a broken leg and the other for weather), it was finally time for their epic session!
Grace and I met up with Erin and Jack at Lincoln Park for the first part of their session. The park’s colors were beautiful yellows and greens which made Erin and Jack pop off the page!
LOVE!
After we got out of the tall grass, we walked over to the other side of the park. As we were waiting for our turn at the “honeycomb”, I photographed Erin’s ring. I grabbed a bunch of white foliage and clumped them together. With Grace holding everything in her hand, I captured this awesome shot! 💍
Just an afternoon stroll in the park!
The ‘burrito’ spin always gets the cutest reactions! 😍
So cool! 😍
As we started to walk away, I thought it would be cute to have Erin sit inside one of the honeycombs. Such a silly and cute moment! 😊
We all walked back to my car and drove over to North Avenue Beach. However, when we got there, they were shooting a movie and wouldn’t let us in. Well you all know me so you know that didn’t stop me. I simply turned around and parked illegally on the street. Nothing prevents my couples from the shots/locations they want! 😉
We hustled over to the shore to take in the whole skyline. The blue hues matched perfectly with Erin and Jack’s outfit. However the wind didn’t like her hat. 🤣
Our attempt at a walk and spin wasn’t successful (thanks to the wind) but it sure made them laugh. 😊
Swoon! 😍
As the sun fell behind the buildings, the four of headed downtown for some incredible city portraits. Our first stop, the river walk on the Mile.
As were walking under a bridge, I saw these cool reflecting panels and thought this could make for a pretty awesome shot. If you look up in the photos, you see Erin and Jack’s reflection on one side and the skyline on the other. Super cool! 😍
An intimate walk on the river. 🤩
We made it to the Clark Street bridge for our final photos of the day. First up, I hopped over the bridge to capture these beautiful moments of Erin and Jack as they took in the whole city. Because I’m hiding behind one of the pillars, it makes the photos fell intimate, like Erin and Jack are the only ones in the world. ❤️
For our final shots, I jumped across the bridge to the other side and had Erin and Jack turn and face me. Jaw-dropping doesn’t even begin to describe the outcome! 😱
EPIC!!! 🤩
To Erin and Jack – Thank you for trucking all over the city with me and of course, thank you for the delicious popcorn! 🍿 I had a blast with you two and the photos… WOW! I literally can not wait for your wedding next July. I’m thrilled to be on this journey with you and I look forward to helping you along the way! If you need anything, I’m always here! all my love – S
