A Fairytale Notre Dame Wedding – Corinne & Sebastian – Notre Dame Wedding Photographer

Corinne and Sebastian’s wedding day was a true fairytale in every sense of the word. From the gorgeous weather, to their heartfelt ceremony, all the way to their glamorous first dance – These two had a real life Cinderella-story wedding day.

Corinne and Sebastian’s love story actually starts over 9 years ago when they were both freshman at Notre Dame. Sebastian found himself 15 minutes late to chemistry class and got stuck with the last lab partner assignment (a.k.a. where Corinne was sitting 😉). They became good friends from that moment on and the following March, they officially started dating. Fast forward to last year when Sebastian got down on one knee and proposed over brunch. This amazing journey has lead us to today. This is Corinne and Sebastian’s wedding day story.

Grace and I arrived at the hotel as hair and makeup was getting started for the girls. Corinne and her bridesmaids fluttered around the hotel suite, sipping mimosas and helping each other with their hair. I immediately started on the details as Grace photographed Corinne getting her makeup done. I love all the gold in their invite; so classic! Every aspect of their day was thought out, down to the tiniest detail.

Obsessed with their ring shot! Stunning! 💍

As the girls continued to get ready, I hopped down to the lobby where the boys were eager to get Sebastian ready. Sebastian’s suit was custom made, along with his gold cufflinks and tie pins. This guy thought of everything. He even had custom tie clips made for all of his groomsmen. Classy! 😎

Michael (Sebastian’s best man and brother) and the boys made sure Sebastian looked his best for this big day.

Groom portraits – Sorry ladies, this one’s taken. 😎

Back upstairs, the ladies were ready to toast our bride. Everyone hopped on the couch to cheers Corinne before putting their dresses on. 🥂

Corinne’s siblings and mom made sure she looked stunning on her wedding day. ❤️

Even Corinne’s grandmother was there to give Corinne her ring to wear. It was a beautiful moment. ❤️

This girl is a real-life princess. 👑 😍

A quick first look with dad before heading to campus. 😊

They boys met us on campus first for some fun Dome photos. The sun was shinning bright but the guys didn’t care. They wanted that classic Notre Dame shot. 🙂

Shortly thereafter, the ladies joined us and got their own Dome moments. Don’t worry, Sebastian was hidden away. 😉

Ceremony time!

That moment when you see each other for the first time. ❤️

After opening prayer and singing of the Gloria, the ceremony continued with several readings, the Gospel and a very personal homily. Their wedding day was made extra special because the two priests preforming the ceremony were actually Corinne and Sebastian’s uncles. 🥰

Corinne and Sebastian exchanged vows and rings. 💍

Communion and the nuptial blessing. 🙏🏻

Corinne and Sebastian took a flower back to Mary in the Lady Chapel. 💐

Amazing! 🤩

It’s official! 🥳

Mr and Mrs Fischer! 🥳

As the ceremony concluded, both families joined us up on the alter for family photos.

Our amazing wedding party!

The newlyweds! ❤️

After all the family photos were done, the wedding party joined me in the center of God Quad for a celebratory Golden Dome moment! 😊

Love the dark green dresses! Such a good looking group!

The wedding party hopped on the bus as we started portraits. I love these intimate moments in front of God Country Notre Dame door!

LOVE! ❤️

It’s rare to have these quiet moments on campus. Corinne and Sebastian took full advantage of this special treat. 🙂

Of course we had to do a dip with a veil swoop – Absolutely! 😍

The four of us jumped on the golf cart and headed over to Howard Hall. The hall’s beautiful arches make it a must-stop spot on campus. 😊

I’m in love with the green and gold hues of the arches!

We stopped at the Grotto so Corinne and Sebastian could light a candle together.

These portraits are so magical! 😍

A peaceful walk together before the reception festivities began. 😊

Before leaving campus, we drove the golf cart over to the far side of the lake for the iconic lake photo. There wasn’t a cloud in the sky so you could see the Basilica and the Dome perfectly.

The fun continued on the party bus as we prepared to enter the Palais. 🥂

Reception time!

The dark green and gold matched the Palais perfectly! Each table got their own cake which is such a fun and yummy centerpiece! 🎂

Let’s all welcome the new Mr & Mrs Fischer!!! 🥳

As guests were seated, Corinne’s mom and dad welcomed everyone and Father Tom gave the blessing over the meal.

After a very yummy dinner, speeches started with Sebastian giving a toast to his bride. He told the story of how they met and said that sometimes what we think to be a shortcoming about ourselves (being chronically late) might actually be the thing that changes your entire life for the better. Well said Mr Fischer. 😉😊

Next Candace and Michael left the room in stitches with their speeches to the happy couple. 🥂

Let them eat cake! 🎂 🍰

Then Corinne and Sebastian had their first dance as husband and wife to the song Love by Matt White.

The lighting is just exquisite! 🤩

Corinne stayed on the dance floor as her dad joined her for the father/daughter dance.

Sebastian and his mom showed us their smooth moves for the mother/son dance. 🕺

The bouquet and garter toss was hilarious to say the least. Corinne’s dress was so full that you could barely see Sebastian under it. 🤣

Party time! And boy did their guests party. 🎉 🥳

As the evening came to a close, it was time for Corinne and Sebastian’s night shot. Corinne really wanted to do something from above but there wasn’t a lot of options with the theater lobby under construction. However, the staircase in the ballroom was just tall enough (with me also standing on the chair) for a beautiful aerial shot of them laying down. Corinne’s dress was absolutely perfect for this type of shot because it created a full circle for them to lay on. I love how they came out because not only are they unique but they have such a strong emotional impact, even from 2 floors up.

I created both in color and black and white because I couldn’t decide which I loved more. The perfect ending to the perfect day! ❤️

To Corinne and Sebastian – Wow, what an amazing day! You two sure know how to throw a party! 😉 Thank you for trusting us with your priceless moments and for being so much fun to work with! Your families and wedding party were super welcoming; so much so that we felt like part of the family. I can’t wait to hear about all the wonderful things the Lord has in store for you as you begin this new chapter as husband and wife! All my love – S
