On a beautiful April Sunday, Julie and Jon finally got to say, “I do!”. Julie and Jon have been together since 2016 when they met for coffee in a cute coffee shop in Kalamazoo. Jon popped the question in July of 2020 while hiking the Great Falls in Virginia. Since the world was turned upside down, Julie and Jon decided they wanted to wait till they could celebrate properly. They looked to the future, to this day in 2023 where they could share this incredible day with their closest family and friends. This is Julie and Jon’s wedding day story. ❤️

I arrived at the Double Tree to find the ladies getting their hair and makeup done in the second floor conference room. I hugged Julie and then off I went to photograph the details. I love the green color pallet they chose for their wedding colors! 💚

The centerpiece on the sweetheart table was the perfect spot for the ring shot! 💍

I found the boys upstairs having a hard time getting Jon dressed for this big day. It took 3 people to get Jon’s tie straight but they loved every minute. 🤣

No wedding would be complete without a wet-willy attempt by the best man. 😂😂😂

Jon’s mother, Jan, opened her gift and then helped pin Jon’s boutonniere.

Jon then opened his gift from Julie. A pair of black socks with the phase “Just in case you get cold feet” written on the tops of them. 🥹

Sorry ladies, this one’s taken! 😎

Meanwhile, Julie’s mom, Kim, helped her into her gorgeous dress.

And also burst out laughing when she opened her hanky gift. 🎁

Gary had the biggest smile on his face as he saw his little girl for the first time.

Julie looked absolutely stunning in her gown. 😍

I drove Julie over to the LaSalle where Jon was waiting for their first look. 🥰

Ceremony time!

Normally I’d jump right to the bride walking down the aisle but this flower-man deserves a moment of recognition. He nailed it! 😎🤣🌸

Here comes our beautiful Julie. ❤️

Julie and Jon started the ceremony with a pinkie-promise to one another. ❤️

Julie and Jon exchanged vows that they had written for each other. 💍

It’s official! 🥳

Mr and Mrs Mueller!!! 😍

Now that’s an exit! 🤩🥳

As guests filtered out to enjoy cocktail hour, we started on family formals.

Then the wedding party had some fun! 😊

Reception time!

The atrium of the DoubleTree was decorated in white and green for Julie and Jon’s brunch reception.

These two really know how to make an entrance! 🤩🍾

Julie and Jon welcomed their guests and got the party started! 😊

After brunch, Brian and Dylan gave their hilarious toasts to the couple. 🥂🍾

Then it was time to cut the cake. There were 2 edible cats hidden in the frosting. 🧁

Next was a very fun shoe game and Julie and Jon tossed a stuffed cat into the crowd to support pet adoption. Whoever caught the cat had to adopt a kitten. Julie’s niece couldn’t have been more excited to win! 🥹🐈

Julie and Jon shared their first dance as husband and wife. ❤️

The cold sparklers were an awesome touch! 🙂

Then Gary joined Julie on the dance floor for their father/daughter dance.

Then it was Jan’s turn for her mother/son dance with Jon.

Party time! 🥳

To end their perfect day, Julie and Jon gathered all their guests for an epic group shot. Congratulations!
