Cats & Stethoscopes – Maggie & Patrick – Notre Dame Wedding Photographer

George and Dexter’s humans are getting married today! ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿˆ

Maggie and Patrick met over 6 years ago when their friend groups collated. Patrick’s friend liked Maggie’s friend which resulted in them hanging out one night. This casual encounter would eventually lead to a first date and and many more to follow. We then fast forward a few years to find Maggie and Patrick living in Indy for med school and have adopted two crazy kittens. This wonderful journey has lead us to today. This is Maggie and Patrick’s wedding day story. โค๏ธ

Grace and I arrived at the Morris Inn to find the girls in full glam mode. Maggie was finishing up her makeup and then waltzed around the room, chatting with her gals. I started on her bridal details before heading over the guys’ room.

Maggie’s cathedral veil was the perfect backdrop for the ring shot. ๐Ÿ’

Grace stayed with the ladies while I photographed the guys. Patrick’s two brothers and parents made sure he looked his absolute best for his big day. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Dr Jeffers is ready! ๐Ÿ˜Ž

A quick toast with the boys! ๐Ÿป

I left the guys to eat lunch and headed back to the bridal suite. All the gals popped onto the bed to toast our dear Maggie. What she didn’t know is was they has made her an album of all their special times together. ๐Ÿฅน

As the ladies got dressed, Maggie’s mom, Katie, helped her into her dress. ๐Ÿ‘—

Finishing touches. ๐Ÿ‘

I’m obsessed with Maggie’s portraits! She’s stunning! ๐Ÿคฉ

Next came the two first looks, dad and the bridesmaids. So many happy tears. ๐Ÿฅฒ

Ceremony time! That moment when you see each other for the first time. โค๏ธ

After the opening prayer and singing of the Gloria, the ceremony continued with two readings, the reading of the Gospel and a very funny homily that involved video games and shots. ๐Ÿคฃโšฝ๏ธ

Maggie and Patrick exchanged vows and rings. ๐Ÿ’

After communion, Maggie and Patrick took a flower to Mary in the Lady Chapel.

Always breathtaking. ๐Ÿคฉ

It’s official! ๐Ÿ˜

Dr and Dr Jeffers! ๐Ÿฅณ

After the ceremony, we took several family and wedding party photos at the alter.

The newlyweds! โค๏ธ

We finished up family photos outside and then proceeded down to the Grotto. Maggie and Patrick lit a candle to commemorate their special day. ๐Ÿ˜Š

I love their snuggles. ๐Ÿฅฐ

Love this side angle shot from Grace! ๐ŸŒท

Across the street, the new fountain/lake area proved to be a beautiful hidden gem. ๐Ÿ’Ž

Back up in God Quad, the wedding party were all smiles. ๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ™‚

Such a fun group! ๐Ÿ˜Š

Just us two! โค๏ธ

We walked down to South Quad for some more wedding party fun! The ladies were up first! ๐Ÿ™‚

The boys took their tackling orders a little to seriously! ๐Ÿคฃ

Heaven! ๐Ÿ’œ

No wedding day is complete without your very own robot army. ๐Ÿคฃ

We walked onto the Notre Dame football stadium and took full advantage of all the fun!

The wedding party played football which started out with Patrick getting tackled to the ground by two bridesmaids. On the second try, Maggie and Patrick ran for a touchdown and then Maggie proceeded to chase Patrick down field with her dress blowing in the wind. ๐Ÿˆ

Love! ๐Ÿ’•

As guests enjoyed cocktail hour, we photographed the beautiful Downes Ballroom, on the 7th floor of the stadium.

Every detail was meticulously thought out and personalized, even down to the kitty cat napkins of George and Dexter. ๐Ÿˆ ๐Ÿˆ

Dr and Dr Jeffers entered their reception and went straight for the cake. ๐ŸŽ‚

Then Maggie and Patrick shared their first dance as husband and wife. โค๏ธ

They stole my signature ‘burrito’ spin during their dance but it was so cute that we’ll let this one slide. ๐Ÿ˜‰

After dinner, it was time for speeches. Maggie’s dad, Jeff, started us off with the memory of Maggie refusing to be a Met’s fan and choosing to go to school in Hoosier basketball country. Then Grey gave a very heart warming speech about how Maggie was the person who didn’t give up on her when school got too hard. “She’s the friend you didn’t know you needed.” Then Nick ended the night with a very charming toast to his brother for never giving up despite all the challenges he had to overcome and that he looks up to him. ๐Ÿฅ‚

Then Jeff joined Maggie on the dance floor for their father/daughter dance. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Next, Ann, Patrick’s mom, danced with him for their mother/son dance. โค๏ธ

Let’s get this party started!!! ๐Ÿฅณ๐Ÿฅณ๐Ÿฅณ

As our evening was coming to an end, Maggie and Patrick wanted a few fun photos in front of their custom sign in their personalized Nikes. ๐Ÿ‘Ÿ

And just look at that sunset. โ˜€๏ธ

Gorgeous!

Congratulations Dr & Dr Jeffers! ๐Ÿคฉ

To Maggie and Patrick – This has been such a wonderful journey with you both! Grace and I couldn’t be happier that you selected us to be a small part of this glorious day. I wish we could marry you every weekend! I’m so very excited for your future together and give George and Dexter a squeeze for me! All my love – S
