The day after a wedding is usually when I’m putting up sneak peeks and maybe even a blog post. However, I was able to come home from Val & Johnathan’s wedding, go through all the images, sort them, edit them and upload them in less than 24 hours!!! Since I was only at the wedding for a short time, I figured why edit only 30 sneak peeks when I could just take the extra hour or so and get every single image edited… ta da! 😀
      
The day started at the Double Tree by Hilton, in downtown South Bend. Valerie and her girls and guy were getting ready. They wanted to take a few pictures in their matching robes. I had the brilliant idea of adding the champagne. 🙂 What we didn’t expect to happen was the champagne popped open and went everywhere. However, it did make for some hilarious photos.
Val’s sister Lilly held her hand as Val was helped into her dress by her maids of honor. They are very close and I can tell that Lilly looks up to her big sis. 🙂
We walked over the The LaSalle building for a ‘first talk’. Similar idea as a first look except they can’t see one another, just talk and share a private moment. Val decided to steal a kiss while Johnathan had his eyes closed. So cute.

This is where my day ended. Valerie, Johnathan and their guests went up to second floor of the venue to enjoy dinner and dancing. I know they had an awesome night, no doubt! 🙂
