What’s the best way to spend a Tuesday afternoon… get pampered and get your picture taken of course! Michelle & Jeremy’s engagement session may have been more fall inspired but the 90 degree temperature made sure we knew it was still summer.

Our day first started off with hair and make up by Nidia of Blushing Beauty. For all my 2020 brides, professional hair and makeup is provided for their engagement session. A little wine, great conversation and professional pampering… who wouldn’t love that?!

Our session started at Beutter and Battel Park. The two parks are connected by a running/walking path that’s super close to Michelle & Jeremy’s house. They run the path quite often and wanted to make it apart of their session. I too have run this particular path and truly enjoy it. It’s the perfect place to capture these special moments!

After we left both parks, we headed to downtown South Bend. We did a few individual shots then it was time for the night shot! Since the sun had already gone down, we were able to take our time and actually do two different locations for the night shot. The second location was under a nearby bridge. I usually photograph here during the day so it was interesting to see it at night and how the light changed. They are more editorial which is always a unique look and fun to capture!
