A beautiful Friday evening filled with giggles and willow trees… what could be better?! 😍

Chrissy and Rick’s engagement session was this past Friday and we had a blast! We started our session at the studio for professional hair and makeup by Blushing Beauty Hair. I had only bet Chrissy before today so it was so nice to sit down and chat with Rick while Chrissy got pampered. 💄

Once hair and makeup was done, we headed to our first location, Saint Mary’s College. Chrissy is an alumni and wanted to incorporate a place that brought her so much joy, into their session.

We started off with some fun walking by moments. Walking photos are a great way to get warmed up to the camera and be silly too! Constantly moving helps minimize the butterflies of being in front of the camera. Rick had no problem with this as you can see. 😆

One of the iconic spots on campus is the beautiful iron bridge. It overlooks the willow trees and gives that wow factor to any photograph.

We walked across the bridge and did a little dancing. This photo ⬇️ is Chrissy’s favorite because it represents how they are as a couple the most.

We then walked to the other side of pond and embraced the willow trees. This is my favorite photo from the whole day! ☺️

We walked over to Chrissy’s old dorm to pay tribute to her time there and also for a color change. Love the brick look here!

Off we walked to the ivory. I found this hidden area a few years ago and it never disappoints. I love how silly Chrissy & Rick are  when they’re together. You can really see how much they care for one another. ❤️

Before we left, I did their ring shot with Chrissy’s engagement ring sitting upon her alumni ring. It took a few minutes to find the right plant for this to work because the alumni ring was so heavy. Worth the hunt though, for sure! 💍

Rick had proposed to Chrissy at the Grotto on Notre Dame’s campus so it was only fitting that we do a few photos there. The sun was starting to go down so it illuminated the Grotto with this beautiful golden hue.

All the colors in these photographs is so breath-taking!

Off we went to change outfits and head downtown. Thankfully Chrissy’s house is close by so they were able to change since nothing was open in downtown. I love the black outfits they picked!

The giggles are non-stop and that’s the way we like it! 🙃

Look at this killer blue sky! So perfect!

We walked to the Morris Performing Art Center to end our session. I love this area because even though it’s night time, there is enough light to tell the story of where we’re at.
