Michiana Fairytale Wedding – Michelle & Jeremy – South Bend Wedding Photographer

The wait is finally over!!! Michelle and Jeremy’s fairytale wedding wasn’t on the day they originally planned but that didn’t stop them from having the best day of their lives! The weather was perfect, the venue was beautiful, the food was delicious but most importantly, their love for one another was so strong that it was felt by everyone who attended. ❤️

This wonderful day started at Aloft South Bend where Jeremy and his groomsmen were finishing up getting ready.

Aloft South Bend has this amazing bar/lounge area complete with a blue pool table. I thought this would be a fun moment for the guys to practice their “Blue Steel” impressions. 😎

Just a few portraits before heading to the church.

After sending the guys on their way, I went up to see Michelle and the ladies. I caught them just in time for a fun PJ moment! 🤗

I am in LOVE with Michelle’s ring! It’s so grand! 💍

Michelle’s mom zipped up her dress and each bridesmaid helped button the back. It was such a sweet moment. 🥰

The tears were already flowing. 😅

Our stunning Michelle before she headed to the church. 😍

Michelle and Jeremy’s ceremony was at St. Monica Catholic Church. Michelle had laid out a photo of her sister, along with her band blanket on front pew. Her sister passed away last year but she was watching from above. ❤️

Jeremy and Michelle both were holding back tears as she walked down the aisle. These two truly do love each other so, so much.

This shot from the back of the church is absolutely stunning! The color and the architecture draw you into this powerful moment.

Michelle and Jeremy’s ceremony consisted of readings, a homily, exchanging of vows and rings, and offering flowers to our blessed Mary. It was picture perfect!

Mr and Mrs Jeremiah Semonis!!! 🙂

The Semonis’ and the Bodnar’s! And their adopted son, Xavier! He’s so cute, I just wanted to squeeze him all night! 🤗

Our wonderful wedding party!

Husband and wife!

On our way out, we took advantage of the church’s gorgeous stain glass doors! I couldn’t pick a favorite so I did several variations.

We walked across the street to Battell Park where we took their first photos as a family!  🥰👨‍👩‍👦

Everyone got in on the swing fun!

These two can not take a bad picture… it’s impossible. And no one can do the walking photos like them; pro level indeed!

What also made these particular photos even more special was the fact that Michelle and Jeremy walk/jog this path almost daily. They’ve spent a good majority of their dating lives together at this park. It holds a very special place in their hearts.

Jeremy was super excited to get a picture of his 2001 Camaro as they left the church. As someone who grew up with these cars their entire life, I completely understood his obsession! 😉🚘

Our first stop was Morris Park Country Club. Michelle’s sister Liz works there so we were given permission to take pictures out on the course.

Now that’s a jump shot!!! What did I tell you… pro level at everything! 😁

I told them to point to the person who was going to have wayyyyyy too much tonight. There was a clear consensus.  🤣

Time for portraits under the gorgeous willow tree.

BREATH TAKING! 😱

WOW!!!!!!!

The reception took place at Aloft South Bend in their ballroom. The room beautifully decorated by Michelle and Jeremy.

The Newlyweds!

Michelle’s dad welcomed the guests and gave a very moving speech.

After dinner, it was time for the toasts! Nicholas, the best man, was up first, followed by Liz, Michelle’s matron of honor and sister.

Let’s cut that cake!  🎂

Their first dance as husband and wife.

Parent dances. Michelle danced with her dad and Jeremy with his mom. 🙂

Time to party… put on your dancing shoes! 🕺🏻💃🏻

To end such a spectacular day, we needed an epic night shot! Michelle and Jeremy’s invitation had a picture of the Liberty Tower on it so we decided to create our own version on the streets of downtown. Very epic… which one is your favorite?

To Michelle and Jeremy – Thank you for choosing me to capture your journey to this amazing day! The way you two look at one another is something you only see in movies. You truly are perfect for one another and I couldn’t be happier for you both! Congratulations! All my love – S
